Merry Critters With Kat Scrappiness

By | 11/21/2018

I found this stamp company that I just love.  Have you tried Kat Scrappiness?

I found it when I was trying to get the Gina K Wreath Builder kit and she was all sold out.  I poked around the internet and found that a stamp store by the name of Kat Scrappiness still had it in stock and it was on sale!  I’ve since found quite a few goodies at Kat Scrappiness that are sold out elsewhere.

I was also delighted to find out that they have their own line of adorable stamps and dies.  They also have fun sequins and embellishment mixes.

My Paper Craft Crew card this week is made from two fun Kat products.

Stamping Imperfection Merry Critters

This little deer and the sentiment came from the Merry Critters stamp set.  The die cut set that includes the stitched rounded rectangle and the stitched banner came from a die set called Crafter’s Essentials Die Set #1.  I have a picture of that here:

There are 11 dies here that are perfect for card making.  I also see myself using this to make journaling cards for my bullet journal  and frames for my scrapbook layouts.  I will most definitely order other crafter’s essentials sets.  This is a Kat Scrappiness exclusive design.

I love the little deer in this stamp set.  I was playing with all of the stamps and coloring them with my new Chameleon colored pencils.  I fussy cut this little guy out and created this card with this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch.

I stuck to the card sketch fairly closely this week.  I did add the pine bough and branch with berries from the Altenew Holiday Bow stamp set.  I used some of the new Altenew inks in Milk Chocolate and Mountain Pine.  The red is Crimson.  I really love Altenew inks.  I love how they sell them in layering sets of 4 colors that are just perfectly coordinated for your projects.  It takes the guesswork out of trying to decide what colors will layer together.
