Mother’s Day Card Challenge

By | 04/29/2021

It’s time for another Scrapping4Fun Challenge and this one is a Mother’s Day/Ladies/Girls challenge.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Di’s Digi Stamps!

I pulled out a cute stamp set from Carabelle Studio called Ilona and the Fabric Flower.

I bought this a few months ago and didn’t have a chance to pull it out and play with it.  I intended it to be for a mixed media project and I was in the mood to experiment a little today.

I enjoyed playing with this stamp and just coloring fun combinations of Copics onto various parts of the dress and flower.

I also enjoyed experimenting with the Tessa Dots stencil from Maker Forte.  This stencil is a square stencil with evenly space large dots.  I stenciled it in pink and then moved the stencil over and added some blue and then I just kept moving it so the dots covered white space which I kept filling in with a new color until the entire background was filled.

I really like the effect!

I added some black and white splatter and then a sentiment from the Maker Forte Celebrate All Moms stamp set.  I feel like this sentiment could be used for anyone who has been a supporter for you!
