Quick and Easy Back To School Card

This week’s Make The Cards Challenge is a Back To School Challenge!

I love this challenge! I have so many former colleagues and friends who are returning to work after what I hope was a very restful summer. I’m sending some cards out to wish them a happy new school year in what I hope is not going to seem like gloating! August is a much more relaxing month when you know you don’t have to go to work in September!

I’ve used the Time For School patterned paper to create this card. That paper is so pretty and the images are perfect. You could simply finish it off with a sentiment and a pretty ribbon if you wanted to!

I added a latte made from the Love and Bubbles stamp set that I colored in with my Copics and popped up on some foam dots.

Copic Combinations:

Cup: E 39, 35, 34, 31, G 05, 03, 02, 12

Lid: C 03, 01, 0

Straw: G 02, 12

I added the sentiment from the Thanks for Helping Me Grow stamp set. I think this is a great sentiment for all teachers!

The card is finished off with 3 blue Crown Jewel Gems…of course! No card is complete without some sparkle or shine!!
