That’s right! I cleaned my craft room today to pack up a few things that I want to take home with me and I found some watercolor pieces that I had made a couple of months ago.
I added some marker touches and created a very quick card out of the leftovers. I hated not using them!
I added some alcohol marker touches to give a bit more dimension to the flowers. I popped them up on foam tape and added the leaves and a sentiment. Instead of a watercolor wash, I pulled out my Altenew markers and just did the dot background and added some sequins.
We all have those extra pieces that we make and don’t use. I keep them in a small plastic envelope and use them when I’m busy and need a break.
I get a few minutes of creativity and use up some of my stash. Win-Win!
I believe these are Altenew florals but I’m not certain. I packed up my stamps to ship back. These are great flowers to practice watercoloring and alcohol marker coloring. They have nice spacious petals and a few fold overs so you can practice shadowing.
Have a wonderful day! Thank you for stopping by! Leave a comment and let me know what you have been working on lately!
