The new challenge on the Scrapping4Fun Challenge is a color challenge anything goes project!

Love From Lizi

I didn’t use all the colors in the palette pictured.  I had 3 ink pads to work with the day I created this project: Pink, purple and blue.  The are pastel shades of those colors, but I didn’t have red, orange or yellow.

I create a cover for my May traveler’s notebook.

Color Challenge

I did have some green foil, green card stock and a yellow ink smooshed background that I had sopped up some leftover ink with.

Score!  I knew salvaging that ink would come in handy!!

All of the products I used are from Maker Forte and I love every single one of them!

I used a green rainbow Deco Foil on a piece of patterned paper from the Alex Syberia Slimline paper pack.  The stamp set is called Love is the Flower.  I used the newly released Splatter stamp #4 and the brand new Find Your Compass die to create my ephemera bit.

Traveler's Notebook Cover

I used the Color Hive inks to do the watercoloring in Rah Rah Skirt pink, Purple Rain, and Acid Wash blue.  I also used the Eclipse black for the sentiment and Gathered Twigs for the stenciling and the splatter stamping.

I also used the slimline stencil called Peacock Feathers.

Traveler's Notebook Cover

I die cut this compass 4 times.  I made the top layer green, then I heat embossed parts of it in gold and parts in peach.  I added some distress details in black on top.  I love the way this came out.  It’s a very intricate die!
