Scrappy Tails Crafts Oopsy Daisy Mixed Media Card

By | 06/01/2021

Stencils have become one of my favorite go to background tools for my cards.  They are a very cost conscious tool to have in your stash because there are just so many ways that you can use them.

I used a stencil from my stash to create a geometric background in Frostbite blue Nuvo Glacier Paste.  I’ve had this paste in my stash for at least 2 years and I’m finally using it.  Why have I waited so long?  This gives a beautiful shine to my background when it dries.

The main images from my card are created from one of my favorite stamp sets from the Scrappy Tails Crafts March release.  This is the Oopsy Daisy stamp set.  It has 4 floral images, 5 bees, and several sentiments.  I’ve already created at least one video where I made 5 or 6 cards using this stamp set in March, but I was in the mood to play with it again today.

I love stamps and dies that I keep pulling out multiple times!

Isn’t that paste shiny?  I love the background you get with a stencil and a texture paste!
