The fun thing about not having time to clean off your desk is that the next time you sit down at what should be a mess, it’s full of inspiration for your next card. This card came from the leftovers sitting on my desk. I merely had to pull all of the pieces together.
The base of the card and the mat are Calypso Coral. The DSP is the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (#129311) in the Spring Catalog. You can also find the paper doilies and the old olive organdy ribbon in the Spring Catalog too. The happy birthday sentiment comes from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (#129156). The flower image is, of course, Blooming with Kindness (#126422) from the annual catalog. LOVE this as you know. It’s still sitting on my desk, so you can expect more cards with this image! I promise to get more creative and use some of the other stamp sets!!
Well…I’m off to spend some time with my husband. He’s acting like he’s being neglected. If I could only get him to stamp. I might have to trade time fishing to get him stamping. It would be worth it because I actually like to fish and it would be immensely entertaining to watch the man stamp!! Probably almost as much fun as watching him try to assemble something or fix something. Now that’s entertainment!!! For now, I’ll just go challenge him to a good game of Scrabble! (I’ve got the vocabulary, but he’s got the strategy. It’s always a hearty contest!)
