Stamping And Scrapbooking Sunday Series: Winter Layout!
It’s cold, rainy and blustery here today. It only seemed right to do a little shopping with my daughter, light a fire in the fireplace and create a scrapbook page to match my mood! Winter is coming and we might as well be prepared!
Stampin’ Up!’s All Is Calm Designer Series Paper is all about the soft colors of the winter season. It seems like just the perfect color scheme to create a winter layout from.
I feel like this paper is perfectly named: “All Is Calm”. The colors just evoke feelings of peace and calm. I paired this with the Endless Wishes and the Many Merry Stars stamp set. The snowflake cutout comes from the Snowflake Card Thinlets Dies.
The colors are simple…although I don’t know that I would ever have put these colors together without the inspiration from this paper and my Color Coach. One of the best things about Stampin’ Up! is the color coordination of their products.
The designer series paper is really wonderful patterned paper carried by Stampin’ Up! You get 12 sheets of 12 x 12″ papers, 2 each of each design. The papers are patterned on both sides, with different patterns on both sides. You actually get 12 patterns in one package since the papers patterns on both sides. I love this paper.
In the catalog and on the back of the package, it lists the colors that are in the paper so that you can easily select card stock, ribbons, inks and other embellishments that completely coordinate together.
I love that feature. It takes one of the decisions out of the creation process! Sometimes you just need it to be quick and easy!
