This week’s card sketch is a classic! It is one of my fall back sketches when I’m stuck. I decided to think outside the card sketch a bit with it this week!
I’ve made lots of cards with this classic layout and I love them. I was trying to make a Halloween card without using the Halloween images from the Halloween Hello and Best of Halloween. I wanted to use something that I haven’t used a lot. Here is what I came up with…my own twist!
Card Details:
Papers: Basic Gray, Very Vanilla
Inks: Tangerine Tango
Stamp Set: That’s The Ticket (Halloween Bash would also work!)
Accessories: Witches’ Brew Washi Tape, Big Shot, Chevron Embossing Folder, Vintage Designer Buttons, Glimmer Brads, Linen Thread, Ticket Duo Punch
Again, this card uses a stamp set with a coordinating punch! The Ticket Duo Builder punch coordinates with the Halloween Bash stamp set and the That’s the Ticket stamp set. I didn’t have to fussy cut all of the tickets. You can see that I took the opportunity to use the Vintage Button and Glimmer Brad combination that I like so much! That was the real reason I wanted to make another Halloween card!
I don’t actually send this many Halloween cards, but I do love making them! I will no doubt turn some of these cards into scrapbook pages. I like to use a card on a scrapbook page. It gives you an opportunity to add your stamped images and you can journal on the inside of it!
