Do you have friends you know need a boost?
I definitely do and I thought that the pocket cards that I printed from Traci Reed Designs would make perfect sentiments on the front of a couple of quick cards that I made today.
I had some extra pieces of the Indoorsy Digital Collection and the Have A Nice Day freebie collection from Traci Reed. The pocket card is actually a freebie and I really loved the quote. In a world that feels increasingly out of control, we all need to remember to just do what you can.
This card layout was inspired by the Atlantic Hearts Sketch for this week.
I loved this sketch so much, I didn’t change a thing!
I thought this plaid background paper from the Indoorsy Collection would make a perfect background for the 3 x 4″ pocket card. I added some cherry cardstock and a floral element from the same collection. The card is finished off with a few old enamel dots from my stash. This is very quick and easy!
I really am using up my stash and supplementing it with a few new things just to stay excited about creating with it!!
I created a second card because I had some leftovers and a 2nd pocket card that I had printed.
I added some alcohol marker details to this floral element. I just wanted to experiment and see how it would look. I also added some gel pen dots to the flowers.
These cards were so quick and easy. I was thinking that I could create some quick gift bags and tags with these 3 x 4″ pocket cards as well.
That will be a project for another day!
