2 Fun Projects For Quick Gift Giving!

By | 12/18/2012

I am so excited! My Daydream Medallion Ornament was featured on CraftGossip.com today!  How fun is that?!  I submitted my project hoping to be selected as a featured crafter and blogger!  I did my happy dance today…more than once!

I have two fabulous projects to share with you today.  I couldn’t decide which one to share, so you’re getting them both today!

Let me start by telling you about the gift card holder on the right.  Both projects are made of Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green card stock!  The gift card holder is cut 3-1/2″ wide by about 11″.  I scored it at 2″ from one end and 4-1/2″ from the other.

The fun part is the way I made the curved flap of the gift card holder.  I used my labels framelits and positioned it so only one side of the paper would be cut.

I decorated with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Gumball Green and punched out with the Word Window Punch.  This is layered on Gumball Green using the Modern Label Punch.  I love the combination those two punches give with the teeny sentiments!  I also used a stamp from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set.

Here is a video tutorial so you can better see what I did!

The cocoa packet gift holder is another fun and quick project!  It’s just a small thinking of you type of gift.

For this project, I used Sassy Salutations stamped in Cherry Cobbler and cut out with Apothecary Accents.  I used a Brights Designer Button, some linen thread and sweater trim to finish it all off!  I also made a quick video tutorial of this as well! (Can you tell that I love making the videos?!)
