What do you get when you challenge yourself to make 8 completely different cards with the same 3 pieces of card stock? You get 8 great cards and a lot of time relaxing while you stamp!
Stampin’ Up! offers so many different stamp sets, tools and embellishments that it is fun to challenge yourself to see how many different cards you can make from the same basic starting point each time.
Here is card 3 of 8!
I love this card!!!! It is a super simple layout, so it’s quick and easy to make. I started with the same basic parts: a whisper white card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″, a piece of real red card stock cut at 2-3/4 x 4-1/4″, and a piece of whisper white cut at 2-1/4 x 4″.
One tool I just can’t live without is my Big Shot. It’s hard to imagine my cards before my Big Shot and my punches! I love how much texture you can add on a card using the embossing folders. It takes a card from nice to WOW!
I also love the incredible elements that you can add using your punches and framelits. The shapes and layers you can add are amazing. The dimension it adds to your card make if fabulous. It’s so much more interesting to see a card with layers, texture and dimension than just a plain card with an image and sentiment stamped on it.

This is very pretty. I just made it using Basic Gray instead of Early Espresso and Riding Hood Red instead of Real Red. I used Beautiful Birthday for the greeting. Love it! Thanks for the inspiration!!
