I have just the thing for you! You can make this in less than 10 minutes! Stampin’ Up! sells Clear-Mount Stamp Cases in sets of 4 (DVD cases would work great too!). These make great note pad and pen holders!
These are great to decorate. A couple of tips: leave out the dimension and the embellishments. Use snail to attach your layers so you can slide them into the clear sleeve easily. I used a piece of Floral District Designer Series Paper cut 7×10-3/4″. I decorated it with the sentiment from the World Treasures stamp set and cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelit that fits around it. Using my Color Coach, I decided to color my stamp with Old Olive and Night of Navy Stampin’ Write markers. I framed it with Daffodil Delights card stock cut out using the Window Frames Framelit set. I attached it all together with snail and slid it into the clear sleeve of the case.
The great thing about the DSP paper is that it is two sided, so the inside case is automatically pretty when you slide the paper in. I attached a note pad and pen using sticky strip. I looped a ribbon scrap to make a loop for a pen which was also covered in the same DSP. I love how quick and easy this gift is to make and how useful it will be for the person I give it to.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted one of these that I created using paper I decorated using the My Digital Studio Software. I use that case to hold my rhinestone, pearls and Googlie eyes embellishments.
