A Great Project for Clearance Bin Finds!

By | 12/27/2012

Have you checked out the clearance bin blitz yet?  If the answer is no, go there now by clicking here!  The deals are amazing!  I purchased, punches, buttons, ribbon and Simply Sent kits for amazing prices.  My project today is a stationery folder for one of the Simply Sent card kits.

I know!  It’s so frilly and so not me.  The Designer Series Paper that I used screamed for frilly, so that’s what it got!  I used an entire piece of DSP for the folder and the rosette.  I used a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock and a scrap of Baja Breeze as well.  I used a very pretty lace doily which I sponged, cut in half and fan folded.  Then I added some embellishments.

I got the Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Card kit #122377 for only $4.79!!!  You get 8 cards in two colors, 8 envelopes and 16 label stickers that you can stamp or write on.  This is a great little stationery set to have on hand or use as a gift.

My stationery folder has one pocket on the inside to hold all of the parts.  I did stamp half of the labels with “Thank You” and “Happy Birthday” sentiments.  The other half I left blank.

There are 3 other Simply Sent kits in the Clearance Bin.  Sweet Moments Simply Sent Kit (#122376) which is $5.59, the Designer Cuts Cards and Envelopes (#125414) at $1.99 and the Great Day Simply Sent Kit (#122375) for $5.19!  All of those are more than 50% off the original price.  When you create a folder or box for them, they make great gifts!

I created step-by-step instructions on a video…I love making the videos!  I hope you enjoy watching them!

The rosette is created using the Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die (#125594), the Extended Cutting Pads (#113478),  and the Extended Premium Crease Pad (#117630).
