This month’s Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge is a fun one! It’s an ABC Challenge and here is how it works:
This month we would like you to chose a letter and use it on your layout. For example, if you chose P, use paint, pearls, etc and a word that starts with P in your title. Have fun with it!!!
This challenge goes through May 4th and you can enter as many times as you’d like. The only rule is that YOU have to be in the photo!
For my layout, I chose the letter “B”!
- I did my layout in a Book…a traveler’s notebook.
- I used a black and white paper and a black and white photo.
- I added some blue on the layout.
- I had some bold colors.
- I added some bling to my title with some gold letters.
- I had butterflies, blooms, and bees in my ephemera.
- I titled it “Big Yay!”.
I had some watercolored blooms already fussy cut in my stash just waiting to be used. I pulled out some puffy stickers full of bees, butterflies and hearts. I added some fabulous bold titles phrases with some bling from two different sets. I even have a chipboard bloom with some black and white on it. I also added a black and white patterned paper behind my photo with a black and white tab for the date.
Beautiful, I think!
I tried to place the ephemera around the photo in a diagonal pattern across the length of the page.
I tried to get a little pink, black, bright blue and gold in each section where my ephemera was as well. Hopefully, it carries your eyes across the layout!
The title is just a fun way to use something that starts with B and it embodies how I’m feeling these days! The pop of bold turquoise blue makes me happy to see as well!
This was a really fun layout to play with trying to find things that began with the letter B. I also contemplated adding some birds, but alas there is only so much room on a layout!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!
