This month’s theme for the Challenge YOUrself February challenge is meditation.
I don’t meditate per se. I do activities that I find meditative.
I often find that as I’m riding my bike I focus on the sights and sounds around me and the feeling of freedom and relaxation that I have while riding my bike.
I find that sitting on my porch in the sunshine and also watercoloring and alcohol marker coloring allow me to achieve the same feelings. I don’t think about anything outside of what I am focused on.
I find these activities extremely relaxing for this reason.
I used the Close To My Heart Four Seasons Spring workshop kit to create my layout. I had a floral piece left over from the other layouts that I had made, as well as some of the ephemera that I created with the stamp and thin cuts set that coordinates with this kit.
I used the February Sketch from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine so I can participate in that challenge too!

I loved this little workshop kit. CTMH ran a special on the Four Seasons kits from November or December until they all sold out. The last I checked, only the summer kit is left. They have no plans to replace the sold out kits. Everything is while supplies last.
One thing that I am really enjoying about these workshop kits is that I can get coordinating stamp and thin cuts sets with them. I really love making more of my own ephemera and mixing it with the stickers and other elements that come in the kits.
This kit had wood floral bits that I really loved. The wood detail always adds a nice contrasting element to a layout. It is one of those extra touches that I really love.
Supply List:
Four Seasons Spring Paper and Sticker Set
Four Seasons Spring Coordinating Cardstock Set
Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
Have a wonderful day today. I hope you find time to meditate or participate in an activity that leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed!
