You are finding a lot of traveler’s notebook layouts here lately! I’m participating in the February LOAD Challenge at ScrapHappy. This is a LayOut A Day challenge where I get a story prompt and a technique prompt. I can make any size layout in any format as long as I submit it today! We are also allowed to use sketches and that is what I have been doing for the last 5 days!
The story prompt for today was to create a layout about something nobody knows about me and the technique prompt was to use some greenery on the layout.
I’m using the newest sketch from the TN Time With Lisa and Lori Challenge for February and I will submit this to their challenge just for fun as well.
This challenge has a second technique challenge created by Lori as well.
I don’t really have any secrets details about myself that nobody knows, so I just created a page that followed the sketch that has a bit of red, some hearts, and some greenery in the background paper!
I really like creating with traveler’s notebooks. It’s small enough that I can really create a quick layout each day if I want to. It also allows me to capture the story of a day or a special moment of the day and record my story my own way.
I’m also really liking the way my pages are turning out now that I’m using the sketches. I feel like I’m learning as I use the sketches. It’s giving me ideas and confidence as I make them and I’m seeing how creatives who have been using this layout format for a long time are actually utilizing the pages. I’m getting more insight on what I like on my layouts and what makes a page or layout more appealing to the eye.
Here is a process video I made while creating one of my layouts earlier this week with another sketch from TN Time with Lisa and Lori!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a creative day!
