November Customer Thank You Card

Place an online order with me in November and receive a handmade card as a thank you from me!  This is my November Customer Thank You Card!  By now you’ve guessed that I love clean and simple cards.  I like the instant gratification of making a card in less than 15 minutes, including the cutting!  In fact, I usually make 4 at a time.  I usually keep one card for my reference files, I send one to my sister and the other two go into my stash of cards that I have on hand to send when I need one!  In November, you can get one too!  (Will my sister be getting a card in November?  Of course…as soon as she places her online order with me!)

In fact, if you join my Perfectly Simple Virtual Stamp Club you can get a handmade card from me every month you place an order!  Check out the details by clicking here!

You can see that my Big Shot gets a lot of use!  Once again I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder but only on the lower part of the card.  That’s just a slightly new twist to make the card a little different.  You can see I also used my Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I can’t believe how versatile the Big Shot is and how much simpler it makes adding these WOW! details to your cards.  Remember the old days of embossing by hand with a light box and a stencil?  If you answered no, you’re lucky.  Having a Big Shot to emboss and cut with is like having an IPod instead of an LP record player! So much better!

Some tips for stamping:

  • Use your tools!   I say this all the time, I know!  They add such great details to your cards.  You make the purchase once and then you can use it over and over in so many different ways.  Look how many times I’ve used that Vintage Wallpaper folder and every card has a different look.  I haven’t even shown you how it looks on colored card stock, or with shimmer paint sponged on!  Just wait…more to come!
  • Don’t worry about making perfect cards.  I know!  I say this all the time too!  If it isn’t perfect, you know it’s handmade especially for you!  My new mantra!
  • Just for fun, make the same card in a couple different color choices.  Take a look at the same card in a different color:

Try your card in a different color combination!
