It’s time for this month’s challenge on the Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge!

This month’s theme is to use a grid!

November Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge

The design team layouts are so fun.  Everyone used a grid in a fun unique way.  I decided to use mine for a traveler’s notebook layout.

Autumn to Remember traveler's notebook layout stamping imperfection

I used some scraps from the Autumn to Remember scrapbook workshop kit from Stampin’ Up!  I LOVED this kit.  I thought Stampin’ Up! did a great job with their first scrapbook workshop kits.  I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

I had some 1/2″ strips of the designer series paper left from my last layout, so I added those as borders to the pages.  I also had a piece of that fabulous green pattern that worked perfectly as the base of my grid.  I just trimmed down some rectangles of scraps to be the same 2 x 3″ size as my photo and created my grid.

The fun part of course, is adding the stickers, die cuts and the wood pieces to finish off the layout. A little handwritten journaling to document the event and my layout was complete!
