Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Jar Stamp Set: Quick and Easy Cards

By | 06/19/2025

Watch out!  You are about to fall in love with the Sweet Jar stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

I made 3 quick and easy cards today just to play with this new stamp set.  I didn’t even play with the coordinating punch yet! I was too busy making cards with the sweet little stamp set.

Stampin up Sweet Jar Cards with Stamping Imperfection

I pulled out some pretty ribbons and embellishments, along with some DSP and coordinating card stocks.

These took only minutes to make.

I made the cookie one first!  Stampin up Sweet Jar Cards with Stamping Imperfection

I used Crumb Cake ink to stamp the cookie bases using the stamp that looks like it’s meant to be jellybeans.  Then I stamped over the top of it with Early Espresso ink and the stamp that looks like a splatter stamp.  They layer perfectly to give you chocolate chip cookies!

I stamped my jar after stamping the cookies.  I used the new Cloud Cover ink.  I thought it was easier to line the jar up with the cookies this way.

I then added the lid with Pecan Pie ink.

I used my Light Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blend Marker to add some wisps below the jar so that it looks like it is sitting on a table or a counter.

For the sentiment, I used the Secret Sea ink for the tiny words and the Flirty Flamingo for the sweetness.  I coordinated the color card stock with the sweetness and added some Summer Splash ribbon from my stash.

The embellishments are the new Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems.

Very quick and simple!

Card Dimensions:

  • White base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4″
  • Flirty Flamingo: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8″
  • White panel: 3-3/4 x 5″

For the second card, I used all the same measurements, but I changed up the color to Azure Afternoon!

I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to add color to the stamp.  I just pulled out a blue, a green, a yellow, a red, and an orange.  I colored the jellybeans and gave it a huff to stamp it on my white panel.

The embellishments are the Party Dot embellishments.

For my last card today, I used the candles stamps along with the flames.  These are stamped in Pretty in Pink and Crushed Curry.

I used a piece of scrap white card stock to stamp on.  The candles are Pretty in Pink with Crushed Curry flames.  The party sentiment is Petunia Pop.  The birthday sentiment is Summer Splash.

I used my Happy Labels punch to give the ends of the birthday sentiment some interest.  I also use my free sequins that I have left over from SAB!  The twine is from the Pack your Bags trio.

You can see my background is one of the fabulous patterns in the Brights DSP 6 x 6″ paper pack.  I love the stripes background here.

Dimensions:

  • Card Base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4″
  • Pretty in Pink card stock cut at 3-5/8 x 3-7/8″
  • White panel cut at 3-1/2 x 3-3/4″
  • Sentiment strip 1/2 x 3″
  • Brights DSP cut at 4 x5-1/4″

This was a relaxing afternoon project.  I will definitely play more with this stamp set and the coordinating punch.  I’m planning some shaker cards for sure with this sweet set.

Sneak Peek Hint: There is another holiday stamp set coming out in July to coordinate with that punch if it’s something that is on your wish list!!
