Lots of Cards and Tags with Impressions Abloom

When was the last time you pulled out a suite of products and absolutely fell in love with them?

It happened to me last week!

I pulled out the Impressions Abloom stamp and die set.  At first, I wanted to play just with the stamps and dies.  I created a card using the two step stamps, the oval dies, and the new In Colors.

I left the background just plain white card stock.  Clean and simple!  I didn’t do a great job lining up the stamps on this one.  I got better as I played with them.  They actually line up nicely.  You can see here though, it doesn’t really matter if you don’t get them lined up perfectly.  It’s still a pretty card.

The second card had me playing with just dies.

I like this one quite a bit.  But this made me want to do some stamping and die cutting on a card.

You can see here, that I used the dies to cut out stamped flowers.  I stamped some directly on the card panel, then popped the die cut ones up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I really liked this card.  I also pulled out the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder at this point as well.  I LOVE this with Crumb Cake card stock.  I like the rustic feel it gives to a card.

I couldn’t resist making a few cards with the gorgeous DSP that coordinates with the stamp and dies in this suite.

This is my favorite card of the day for sure.  I love the colors on the DSP and that corrugated embossed piece is perfect!

I used the same layout to try a couple different papers in the set.

For my final card, I used the Black-eyed Susan paper!

So pretty!! That is Calypso Coral stamped off on top of Peach Pie for the orange flowers.  I loved those.

Finally, I pulled out a couple of tags from the Washes and Florals Tags Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

I always make extra die cut pieces and I stamp and die cut extra florals.  These bits are perfect for creating some gift tags to have on hand when you just want to create some small things.

These also work great as ephemera on scrapbook layouts.  It’s nice to have a pile of coordinating tags that you can pull from when you want to create a pretty layout.  Plus…you can use all your pretty ribbon too.

I still haven’t played with the embossing folder and half the dies in this set yet!!  Yay! More goodies to play with!

BOGO 50% off Suite Sale until the end of June!

So I happily ordered some Suites of products that I had on my Wish List a couple of weeks ago!  This is a perfect time to splurge on those Suites you have been eyeing in the catalog or online at ShopWithKim.net!

When you buy one Suite, you can get another at 50% off!

BE CAREFUL…the individual products in the suites are also part of the BOGO sale.  So if you add two suites to your shopping basket, then add some extra ribbon or embellishments… the lowered priced items will be 50% off.

If you want an entire suite at 50% off, just place an order with an even number of suites.

I only wanted two suites of products.  That was all I put in my order.  I placed a second order for the separate items I wanted.  That way, I was getting equivalent products for 50% off.

If you’re worried about shipping and handling, don’t!  It is 11-12% on all orders over $70.  As long as your orders are over $70 each, you are paying the same amount of shipping and handling on those smaller orders, and you would on one big order.

Now if you place an order of $70 or less, the shipping is $7.95 no matter whether you order $20 worth of stuff or $69.99 worth of stuff.  That is the minimum shipping price.

These days, we have to know the rules of the game in order to get the most product for our money.
