Three Room Studio’s Saturday Challenge this week is a Fall Color Theme. Of course I pulled out my favorite stencil and my new favorite color scheme for my card today!
I pulled out the Moving Sentiments stamp set, the Rounded Checkerboard Stencil, the Hello Friend stamp and die, and the Simple Sentiments stamp set to complete my card today.
I stamped, colored and fussy cut two of the kitten images and the plant image from the Moving Sentiments stamp set. Then I created my background with the Rounded Checkerboard Stencil and a yellow, orange, and brown ink pad. I trimmed down the stenciled panel using a new set of double stitched rectangle dies I just got from MFT Stamps.
The Just A Note sentiment is heat embossed in white on brown cardstock. The comes from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I LOVE that set! I added the Hello stamp and die cut it out with the coordinating die from the Hello Friend stamp and die set. It was a quick and easy card to make!
I have a little dimension on the card by fussy cutting and layering the sweet little images with the sentiments. It creates a nice little scene without all the work of making a complete background. I love this stencil for that reason.
