Use Your Patterned Paper Scraps For Fun Card Details

By | 02/05/2020

We all end up with those little strips of that pretty patterned paper we so carefully pick out and agonize over cutting.

Those little strips really can add a pop of color to your card with a great layout.

This week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch is just such a layout!

Isn’t that sentiment fantastic?  That is from Catherine Pooler Designs and the stamp set is called Never Forget Fern.

This is going to make a great sentiment for some scrapbook pages and inspirational cards.  I can even see myself using it on a home décor framed project as well.

Here is the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge for this week:

The paper scraps are left overs from a pad of 6 x 6″ papers that came in a Simon Says Stamp Kit.  Those are my favorite monthly kits.  You get so much value for  your crafting dollars.

I used a bit of Altenew Washi tape for the detail on the side of the card.  I finished it off with some Jewel Tone sequins from Neat & Tangled.  I love their embellishments.  The have a nice selection as does Studio Katia.

Another clean and simple card and another card sketch to add to my file of go-to sketches for those days you just aren’t feeling inspired.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I really appreciate that you took time from your day to visit!
