Patterned Paper Stash Busting: Traveler’s Notebook October Layout

By | 10/27/2022

Today I created a two page layout in my traveler’s notebook to document the books I have read during October.  I took the opportunity to use some of my September card kit leftover patterned papers.

I used papers from my September Hedgehog Hollow card kit.  You can see that I also used the stamp sets in the kit to add a sentiment and to create sweet little ephemera pieces.  I stamped the images and colored them with my Copics.  I did a little fussy cutting and created my own ephemera pieces.

I love using my card making supplies for more than just card making.  I think scrapbooks in any size or form are a perfect place to use your supplies in a different way.

There is no doubt that I always feel good when I create more than just cards with my supplies.  The more I use them, the more my crafty budget stretches.

I will add the list of books I read in October and I will include a grid photo with the thumbnails of the book covers as well.  I usually pull the thumbnails off Amazon.  They are already sized perfectly.  The Pic-tap-go app on my phone will allow me to create a grid photo series with the thumbnails to fit in the 3 x 4″ space I have left in my notebook.
