Using a summer stamp set to celebrate Fall is another great way to get more from your stamping tools! I’ve been experimenting with the Summer Silhouettes stamp set with colors we usually use to represent other seasons. Today, I created a Fall inspired card using this stamp set!
Don’t you just love this stamp set? I created a Christmas card last week and I’ve created cards for summer and spring as well.
Here is the Christmas card I posted last week! Below you will find a summery version as well.
I used the same stamp set for each of these cards with different colors and look at the difference! Isn’t it amazing how much you can get from just one stamp set? I’ve created scrapbook pages with this as well!
Hmm…what next? I love this stamp set!
For today’s card, I started with this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge. I really like the layout of the card. I used Always Artichoke, Summer Starfruit, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip and Cajun Craze. The ribbon is Pear Pizzazz and the button is from the Regals Designer Buttons. You can also see that I’ve used the decorative label punch, the scallop trim border punch, some pearls and linen thread. Using a stamp set intended for Summer to create a Fall card really makes me feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of this stamp set!
